Socotra: Your Next Frontier for Wild Fishing Adventures

Day 1: Arrive Socotra (SCT), meet your guide, and transfer to Hadibo. Settle into your accommodation and explore the local market, observing the fresh seafood. Enjoy a welcome dinner featuring Socotri cuisine and receive a briefing about the week's fishing plans and island highlights.

Day 2: Early departure to Ras Iresal, the northeastern tip, renowned for Giant Trevally. Spend the day popping for GTs with guidance from local boatmen experienced in these waters. Enjoy a packed lunch on a secluded beach, taking in the dramatic coastal scenery before returning to your accommodation in the late afternoon.

Day 3: Journey to the southern coast, known for its diverse fish. Engage in light spinning or traditional handline fishing alongside local fishermen, targeting trevally and snapper species. Visit the impressive sand dunes of Hayf & Zahek for a change of scenery. Enjoy a beachside lunch and the coastal atmosphere.

Day 4: Explore the Dihamri Marine Protected Area, a haven for marine life. Enjoy reef fishing, aiming for species like Coral Trout and Grouper. Take a break to snorkel or dive (optional) amongst the vibrant coral reefs and diverse fish. Enjoy lunch at the Dihamri campsite.
